Project Narrative
This project involved the complete design and build of a custom 3D printer developed from scratch. The system was designed using Fusion 360, with all major components manually CNC-machined to form a cohesive mechanical platform. The printer features an all-metal hot end rated to 330°C and a 300 × 400 × 250mm print volume for production-scale output. The project demonstrates the ability to move from conceptual design through detailed CAD, CNC fabrication, and final assembly while managing tolerances, component constraints, and system-level integration challenges.
