  • Design for safety and durability
  • Rapid prototyping and iteration
  • Small-batch manufacturing execution

Generative render of the VEX IQ-compatible pallet based on CAD.

Project Narrative

This VEX IQ-compatible pallet was developed for monthly robotics challenges in an educational environment, requiring a combination of precise CAD design, rapid prototyping, and small-batch manufacturing. The system was designed to interface cleanly with existing VEX IQ components while remaining safe, durable, and intuitive for student use. Particular emphasis was placed on physical robustness and safety. Rounded edges, reinforced geometry, and material selection ensured the pallet could withstand repeated handling and misuse typical in classroom settings. Approximately 100 units were manufactured and deployed as part of recurring challenge programs.
